I was watching a TV show with my sister earlier today, and not only did I point out who won a challenge, got nominated for elimination, and lost the elimination challenge all before they were revealed based solely on the interview/commentary they have with people. But I pointed out that the host's "macho" voice was fake based on how he bared his teeth when he talked. I'm too good at reading people, it's starting to feel like an obsession because I can't turn it off :O
Oh yeh there was something i forgot to add because i was so spaced out.. I think if the tournament was randomly seeded, the best way to do it is to apply a unique id to each team. This would just be a number, say the order in which they applied or whatever. That way you can easily create a roster randomly, by organizing the whole thing by number and not by name. You'll never have duplicates or inaccuracies.
yeah, it doesn't have sprint. I didn't find it difficult to kill people... maybe not 3 shots and they're dead easy, but I thought it was a nice change of pace.
Twas only joking, my lad. It's not crazy really. Just kinda felt more uniquely classic to the few Halo CE games I played. I wouldn't recommend it on just ANY map.
Sounds good. I'm doing some minor tweaking to the map at the moment, but I should have a testable version soon.
I played some games last night with the new settings and everything worked great. Felt real smooth. Even made Hydra more classic feeling. I made an abomination of a gametype that i'll have to make you play sometime as well. It's called Classic Slayer CE. You get a magnum and 2 frags. The weapons on the map are all covy. haha. I thought it was fun. Even on Hydra. 2 focus rifles and those large lines of sight are crazy.
Also, I ended up taking sprint off of those gametypes except the new BTB variant. Generally it made the 4v4 games turn too quick and spawning started acting funny, on any map. BTB can support sprint and 110% speed because the maps are generally huge and its easier to get around quicker.
