Yeah, I mean I set up a lot of stuff, but I never playtested. I have minimal gaming time now that I am back to work and finding testers on a random weekday night after 6pm est or on a saturday morning is tough. Plus the whole "on Tempest" thing. Not everyone has the maps. Pluuuuus, not many people are religiously playing Halo anymore. I like the map and don't want it to just rot on my HD. So as I said, if you wanna play with the spawns and weapons and playtest, or even tweak the geometry if you feel adventurous, then we could call it a co forge. Basically, from what it is right now, do what you like with it, I will have no qualms about it. Basically I am offering up my map for adoption :) And if you have a definitive time for testing your map, let me know and I will do my best to hop on :0)

Also, have a proposition for you. Remember that map I made on Tempest? Would you be interested in taking it off my hands? You could tweak the layout if you like and optimize the weapon layout and test. I know it's 99% done, but if you wanna play with it and test it we can call it a co-forge. Lemme know what you think.

Yeah I know lol. I just find Pistol only gametypes in the aims of classic styling soooo frustrating since it reacts so differently from how it did in CE. It's sorta powerful (and not totally useless like in 2 or 3) but not in nearly the same way. However, I would be interested in trying it without sprint since that's a major factor in making kills hard to get with it.

Sadface, but your reasoning seems sound. I personally like Sprint on Guardian but then I play it 1v1 where increased map circulation isn't a problem since it doesn't shrink the map so heavily, or at least the play count to map ratio is so small that it can afford to be shrunk.

The opposite, if I'm online then I can generally play. Evenings are a bit tighter since I get in at ten and tend to lurk online a little later than I can play (such as now) since I tend to keep people up by talking on my mic etc. During the day my time is better, but up until about nowish I can still get away with playing and not have people stress at me :P.

That said, I'm off to bed now lol.

Oh so now you're a purist for accurate recreation :P. But will do, definitely sounds like it'd be fun. I know it's a pretty typical thing for me to say, but I really think a Sniper could help that map. Part of the reason top red - top yellow battles are so bad is because even with a DMR it takes too long to kill someone before they can a) duck away or b) spam you with grenades and kill you/push you back. Give me a Sniper and I think I'd have a much better time pushing across that bridge from yellow, and even from red to a less extent.
