      .exe what does it work in? I don't have UDk at the mo, i'm getting a new PC as i'm on a Laptop right now and don't think it would handle it.

      And i didn't mean from your project, i just meant if you'd seen anything you liked on the internet. I have been through quite a few Youtube videos you see.

      Oo i'm getting excited.

      What i'm really going to using it for is just environment design. I'm going to be studying Concept design at uni so i want to try and create an environment that matches my concepts. I'm not that fussed about any gameplay aspects, i just want to build something that looks mad cool.

      I keep playing around with ideas, tropical beaches (realistic foliage and wave physics?!), mountainous watchtowers battered by snowstorms, a space installation on Mars, allowing you to walk into a pressurization chamber and then outside into the low-gravity high detail terrain.

      Just some of the things i'v been thinking. You got any videos of your favourite environments?

      Hey thanks for the advice! I will no doubt pick you up for more when i start using it.

      So how hard is setting up all of the AI, weapons, pick-ups? I have had some experience laying down AI pathing.

      Would i need to mesh my own characters? Or does UDK come with Unreal ones?

      Yeh i understand, it sounds awesome.

      My plan for the latter half of this year is mainly to create a small environment. I would want to create my own meshes and textures, making my own models in Maya and then bringing them in to UDK. I'd then want to sculpt my own terrain and environmental features, and depending on how successful that was, perhaps make it into a FPS map.

      Are there pre-made AI scripts or anything? Does UDK come with Unreals bot system? Or would it all need to make made from scratch.

      So what is your role on the team, and do you have a project website or any footage?

      I'm really interested, what's Kismet?

      Also when you say this is a CTF map that uses most of the Unreal 'defaults', is that because that requires less work? Is the UDK kind of like how i imagine where the game mechanics of Unreal 3 are already fully present in the game? Almost as if a game is already there ready for you to customize and edit? What kind of assets does the UDK feature? (it's own preset textures? Meshes?)

      I read you have used the unreal engine? which one?

      I don't really know anything about them, but i'm getting a new computer soon and i plan to use the unreal development kit.
