Would you mind taking pics of Compress's teleporters? I want to introduce the concept of them in forge discussion. I can describe how they are built, I just need a visual reference of what they look like and a shot of them together.

I don't think "linguistically inventive" necessarily means for you to butcher syntax a little. I think they probably want you to juxtapose thoughts in such a way as to make the reader think, "funny I never thought of it that way." Which, I think you do naturally.

This...

...is somewhat confusing because of the placement of intermix. In this case it's not a verb, but it's somewhat acting like one since it connects both parts of the sentence together even though you already have with.

I think it should be changed to this...

"I like to intermix references of the old and odd with talks..."

It's simpler and connects the thoughts better.

What are you intending 'alcoholic mindset' to mean exactly? Belligerence? Or that the narrator has been drinking? might be better to say alcohol induced...whatever feeling you're trying to say.

I enjoyed reading it. I had to re-read it a couple times to fully grasp what ideas you were conveying. It's a difficult read due to the nature of the story and the syntax, which is appropriate for the story.

I have a question about the last sentence though, I'm assuming that "it" is referring to the idea that their is a divine justice in the universe capable of mastering the parallels of time.

Is this story meant to portray your thought process on time travel? Or was that an introduction for a story. I'm assuming it is, because of "And that's how it was sold."

Can't wait for you to finish it, but you'll probably just give up like usual.

Yeah potentially, think I'll take a look over them myself first and see what can be done. There's a load out there that are defunct or can be put into a compendium, but I think some are useful for having their specific thread title out there in the forum listing.

In other news, if you are looking for a book to read, I suggest Apathy and Other Small Victories, by Paul Neilan. Easily one of the best books I've ever read, and I don't use the term "best" lightly.
