Here's a preview of Ambiance. I haven't gotten much done, but don't worry, I'll get to work on it. The preview is to create some kind of hype for the map while keeping you updated on it. If you have any questions or concerns, please notify me. Oh, and thanks for letting me forge this map, I'm having fun actually so far which I normally don't with my maps, lol. I'm trying to toe the line between being "linguistically inventive" and coherent, as they're looking for the former (it's basically the only way to get into literary magazines) but you need to be well versed in the latter for the former to even be considered that.

now you're getting it. lol.

it's this guy who thinks he understands the scientific principles because they were dumbed down for him, and he starts drawing huge inferences (as intelligent people are prone to do) based on that as he tries to explain how it all works to the audience. he ends up misinterpreting everything (well you can see it that way, but time travel is currently classed as nigh impossible, so the way it works in the story, as he explains it, may actually be how it works in his world) as time travel is understandably confusing.

There's meant to be this constant struggle within the reader to figure out if he's nailing it or just a screw up.

Vague so it supports multiple implications.

and to be clear, the beginning is addressing a higher power, sort of.

It's written like an open letter, he doesn't know who he's writing to, but if there is an omnipotent being that he should be controlling the situation a bit better.

it's only the beginning of the story, the immediate paragraph thereafter explains how it became common tech and it's literally "how it was sold/marketed" to the populous.

"it" is dealing directly with the object that allows for time travel.

Mostly I'm refering to the fact that shock uploaded the images to the forgehub server: Forge Hub - Announcements in Forum : Review Hub copy the urls for those images and replace the ones hosted on imageshack/my server.

could you update the review templates with the images hosted on FH?

I guess It doesn't matter. I'd use skype personally, since my e-mails are known to screwing up. I do have a question though, you have 45[sup]o[/sup] corners that only cover 1 FU in their travel as a diagonal line and no forge piece does that, so I'm having trouble, since I'm quite a perfectionist. Also, in the Sketchup, you have a few different things than in the drawings, which would you like me to go by?
