I was reallllly worried they were going to kill him off, because he's a great actor and it'd be a waste, then they eased my worries when Rick returned, but now he's back to being an antagonist with no real indication as to why. I mean it's clear to anyone who's read the comics but it's vague in the show, just seemed like a flip switched in his head and he hates Rick now.

Those are some pretty bold reviews there. I'll see if I can get it for Christmas.

The new character, the CDC guy, I have no idea how he's going to interact with them. He's all alone but he only reluctantly let them in.

Yeah, that's one of the shows I would love to write for, especially with the amount of deviation they're going for. The whole episode with the old folk's hospital was a greaaaaaaat change, didn't go where I expected. I hated that they killed the cute sister (eye candy D:), which I knew was going to happen because the older sister is a Darabont favorite so she's exempt from what happened in the comics.

Merle and his brother are awesome characters. Norman Reedus plays racist-but-not-really very well.

And Game of Thrones looks epic, hopefully I can read the books before the series debuts.
