Yeah, me and my 1st year flatmate had the same thing trying to connect to each other, I think it may be because it's the same public IP or something? Or maybe it's to do with the way they configure the internal network, but either way we were never able to fix it. I've always been at home on splitscreen though so it never ended up bothering me too much.

Kinda random I know, but if she's ever really stuck with something and needs advice from someone who's been through the same course then let me know, though in general there are plenty of people there willing to give some advice or reassurance.

I was in Norfolk Terrace where it was fantastic except for between about 7/8pm - midnight, everyone was browsing then and connection sucked, which is why H3 seshes frequently went on until about 4am. Good times man, good times. Is your friend in first year too?

Yeah I can bet, I hear maths can be pretty intense. Lit was a dossers' course without doubt :P.

Cool indeed, I've just finished a Lit degree there. You enjoying it? Imo halls was definitely the best year.
