I'm trying to keep the towers accurate for ya, but the scaling of the coliseum is ****ing with some of the lines of sight, and need reworking a little.

AGREED. I understand they're trying to bring back the pickups that made Halo 2 (moreso than Halo 3) more competitive in a multiplayer sense and to level the playing field by making the armor abilities spawn on the map. However, I would've preferred a slight permanent increase in speed or the sprint ability by default. I guess having equipment-ish pickups define the halo experience, but they could just use powerups again. Secondaries should definitely have been relegated to magnums, for tradition's and gameplay's sake. Melee letdown also, double pummels are too important in regular halo playlists, tis really ****ing annoying. and no I did not see that, im never on the MLG forums, just got a link to the settings. That's really cool though.
oooooh that is a neat trick. I'm okay with the default maps with AR starts, I prefer the DMR starts though. What do you think of the MLG settings?
I FORGOT ABOUT THAT. FFA = rumble pit, which I tried the other day to get an FFA match going. Got some bullshit race gametype twice in a row and gave up on that playlist. As for SWAT... I loved it at first but I'm finding more and more that lag will **** you over if it's slightly present from the host connection. I prefer Team Snipers over swat when it comes to precision games. Slayer DMRs is cool too but the sniper rifle is generally taken by the time I get to it.

nah, I've never really liked solo matches nor been good at them in any game (including CoD). If I'm going to lone-wolf it I prefer to have cannon fodder (i.e. idiots on my team) to run around while I sweep up from behind.
