"Process" usually means something is predetermined and getting carried out, at least in the way you used it. Not "If continued in the same pattern it's a possiblity likely to occur.

And there's a difference between satirical writing and outright making fun of someone. If you browse through it I didn't say a single negative word. In fact, I repeatedly thanked him for "being funny", a quality which most people would want to have.

To the last part, not really, it just compounded the fact that I disliked the lock with your trademark condescending attitude that comes everytime you do what should be a job. Don't get me wrong dude, you know I like you and get along with you more than nearly everyone on this forum, just seems that you're often incapable of just saying 'lock' or whatever, or even if you have to make a point clear about what should have been done, doing so in a mature rather than snide manner. It's frankly unbecoming.

As for the thread, again I dislike the fact that preventative measures seems to be a valid argument, imagine if police started taking that attitude? Not saying this matters anywhere near as much, but conversely the consequences of you not taking such measures are similarly, well, inconsequential in the greater scheme of things. Forum rules are supposed to cover and get rid of things which serve to be detrimental, not turned in to standards by which things must validate themselves as providing some actual benefit. The idea that every discussion must serve a direct purpose as opposed to just not doing any harm whatsoever (again, prevention of this harm being the purpose of rules in the first place) is something I think can be taken too far, and has been recently.

However, I probably could have communicated that in a less direct and personal way initially, especially after what I said in the first part of this VM, for that I am sorry.

After everything I said he'd come back with some childish remark saying something along the lines of, "Sure...", or "Yeah..." I told him to stop, but he continued on. So when he did it again I simply responded with equal treatment. Not the most mature way of handling things, granted, but he was clearly degrading my beliefs of non-fictional events which is by far more insulting than what I said as I can actually provide tangible evidence of them happening.
