Buy a reeeeeaaally long wire? Tbh my router is in Stefan's room just across the hall, so it's pretty easy to run a wire across. Screw wifi and its tricksy ways.

Pssssh, wired LAN all the way, brah. I run an Ethernet from the router to a switch in my room, run my mac and Xbox off that. I use my airport to run my own wifi network, means I can get coverage for my iPhone/netbook in the garden when I smoke ;).

This hasn't happened before, but my housemate's Vista laptop had the same thing at the same time. Pretty sure our modem is just tripping out right now.

Odd, because Halo has been fine all night, but computers have been crappy. There was a long while where me and my friend were sitting here playing Halo on a perfectly decent connection, and the computer screen was saying 'no internet' and not loading any pages on Safari. Ver' odd.
