Which matters how? You're supposed to vote on the skill that went into the signature and over-all look of it.

The ODST signature doesn't have any kind of flow..

I don't see the difference between that and any of the other "cropped art" sigs. Except perhaps the skill level going into it.

Look around the site. Most sigs are generally "cropped art" as you so bluntly put it.

I'm not going to disregard your vote or insult you for it, it just seemed odd and shallow to me, and I didn't really understand it.

... That's what signatures are. Images people edit and add effects too.

That's like judging books and saying you don't like a lot of them because they remind you of paper.

There's a shop in the next suburb over from me here in sydney that only sells posters, they have music, sport, films, everything basically.

Not really. Judging could be a bit tough but we've got Sarge, who knows just about every movie ever, so for the scenes we don't know he could judge. Also there could be points for making a cover picture similar to the scene in the movie, scale, detail, environment, stuff like that..maybe extra credit for making it playable.

Yeah, that sounds kinda narrow. I'm having trouble deciding what kind of contests to put out there...my best thing I've thought of so far is "2v2 urban maps".

Well, what I mean is, there's really no fair way to say what's the best "forger with potential for reach". We usually like themes, like we already have had a war reenaction contest, wonders of the world, etc.

Much better than that ;) It's more....interactive.

There's really no way to participate in or judge that kind of thing though.
