Basic idea of what it was like: I got 20 codes on Friday, and I have Sabbath on friday night to saturday night. So the idea was to give out the codes to the staff, as Bungie had wanted, and then with the rest probably hold a contest of some sort. Since I had to go very shortly, I gave...8 codes I think to TDF to hold onto in case (stupid move), which upon coming back meant there were 8 codes that were given to higher-level community members (like Cosmic Rick), which theoretically would have been nice but not what Bungie wanted, and then we had a shortage for the staff. So basically, no we did not have a community contest.

I think perhaps we are simply going to disagree on this, since my view would be that should I remove post count from a forum arbitrarily (in opposition to the relative worth of the posts in those sections) then I would both be, conversely, attaching over-importance to post count itself, and would set a precedent that would compel me to remove post count from the entire board altogether.

No worries, I'll go add one in.

I understand the sentiment, however post count is fairly meaningless on this site. Post count is enabled in individual boards based on the standard of posting within that board, and as such I feel the set-up is fine as it stands.

How do you feel it is unfair?
