The reasoning is sound, I know about the motivation thing myself and being less than 5 minutes from any lecture or seminar in my first year was a big help if I'm honest, so fair enough. Free sky is sweet as well, does that mean pre-paid tv licence?

Tv is £135 a year per house, as for gas and electric on top I've no idea off the top of my head but I'll sit down and try and work it out at some point, tbh we use a lot of electricity as a house though.

£105 a week is a lot, my first year accommodation was about £850 per term, though there were en-suite rooms on my campus which cost about the same as what you're saying. Advantage for me was that all the buildings were on campus, so basically in the same place, thus only difference for price being en-suite which I didn't care about. A big walk in your first year could be kinda annoying, I loved living really close.

Rented house for 3 which I got through a student letting agency, £240 a month each if that helps, though I imagine that varies from place to place. And I'm in my third year. Found anything good so far?
