      Basically, I had the general idea of what I wanted the map to be, and I just filled in the gaps as I went along. Tremor Gorge was a way to let me use more of my creativity than racetracks allow, while letting me ghost merge the **** outta the map geometry.

      Well, there were several things I knew I wanted to do in the map before I started. I wanted to wall off the edge to make the map play better (less camping/urges to shoot Mongooses off). I wanted to eliminate the pedestrian camping spots that Choppers can't get to easily or at all. And, I wanted each side to have equivalent structures to keep both sides balanced. After that I just started forging and brainstormed what kind of structures I wanted on the map and where I wanted to place them. I kept in mind that even random structures would provide fun gameplay for T&M, but, at the same time, I made everything so that you can drive on it, around it, through it, or over it so the gameplay wouldn't get repetitive and boring. The late spawning objects were part of this idea since they change the way the map plays, and keeps everyone on their toes.

      Not really. What do you mean? Design? Color coding? Forging the wall or gameplay structures? Cheatproofing? There's a lot of "going about" in making a map. =p
