Anyway, your posts were spam and not helpful to the map maker(s). Just try to post well in the future.

By the way, when you are responding to someone with messages, click on their profile and type your message. Otherwise, it takes a while to realize you messaged because a notification won't pop up for me.

no umm i actually wasn't i only posted on the maps i enjoyed and it seemed that i did because they happened to be all next to each other...if u look through the entire list of featured maps i posted on a few in the 2nd and 3rd pages

Well, you were posting on every featured map. Chips was nice enough only to infract you for one of the comments and let you slide on the other spammy comments. You should thank him. ;)

well everyone else said they liked the maps and glad they were featured...but they didnt get infracted! they didn't say anything helpful!

That is how you should try to post. Aim to help the map maker; don't say "cool map, I'll dl".

Your posts were not helpful. It's in the rules that you should have read when you joined in the first place that you must post comments that help the map maker improve their map/forging in general.

My post presented the question: "And, what's with the equipment? I noticed a Trip mine by Camp Froman and I was kind of wondering why a Halo 2 remake would have equipment."

Silence (map maker) responded: "The tripmine, lots of controversy. That area used to supply you with ammo and grenade refills, meaning it was worth going there. Now, there is no need to return there because theres no ammo, and 2 frag grenades arent gonna convince anyone to trek over there. I just made a judgement call and added it in for interest since i couldnt add the wraith. You're all free to delete it if you dont want it in there."

As you can see, Silence explained his reasoning for the trip mine and how it improved the gameplay.

I play tested the map with the map maker and I congratulated him on a job well done. Then, I presented something that could be improved, in this case, the trip mine because it's a remake of the Halo 2 Zanzibar. If you click here, you will notice that TheSilenceBroken, the map creator, was able to respond to my post.

Also, if you want to know what a decent post looks like:

"I actually had a really good time testing this map. The original sniper spawn on the sea-wall was perfect and the two plasma grenades were even there. I can see you spent a lot of time perfecting this map because you even had the perfect angles the weapons were set at. I never really thought of making this and even if I did, I'm not sure if I would have had the patience of going back and forth from Halo 2 to Halo 3 to get the perfect weapon placement.

Silence, you did a really nice job on this remake and I'll be sure to play this in customs a lot more that Last Resort! :)

You need to chill out. You just got infracted, but you shouldn't take that as something to leave the site and stop posting because of. It's a learning experience. Almost everyone gets at least one infraction some time or another and now you know how to post well. Good luck.

I assure you. You are spamming and if you don't stop, you will get infracted. Getting infracted is not a fun way to join the site. Hold your comments for the new maps. Check out the maps section and download a map. Play it with your friends and come back with a review of it's gameplay.

If your post is pointless to the map maker, it's a bad post. Saying: "cool map, I'll download" is a bad post.

Hey, I see you're new, but you're posts are all spam. When you write comments like:

"very nice map...i like the small underground part"

you can get infracted for spam. Just hold your posts until you've played the map and you can write a review on it's gameplay. Please stop spamming.
