Nope, Mac Mini's don't have them, and since most people buy MacBook's which have built in mics, most people don't make Mac compatible mics :(. Still, it wouldn't work even if I did. The mic needs to be merged with the game sound before it goes in to the capture card otherwise they'll be out of sync. Even if I rooted the game sound direct in to the computer and added a mic on top of that, the video would still lag behind.

Basically, what I have planned will definitely work, and will also enable separate balancing of game sound and my voice, plus it includes a high quality studio mic that I happen to have :P. Just have to hope this cable I've found has the effect that I hope it does and we're golden.

I was thinking about how to do that actually, gonna need to find a mic to use. I also have to hope this cable I have works to merge the game sound and external mic before the capture card in the chain. If I plug the mic directly in to the computer then the my external voice will be like 1.5 seconds ahead of everything else due to the rendering lag of the cap card.

Here's hoping what I have planned will work, I'll try it out tomorrow and let you know :P.
