Oh I'm probably not getting it anytime soon...apparently a few third party apps I frequently use aren't compatible with the new OS yet.

      But yeah lemme know please.

Went over all the spawns with Fritzster and now I have 2 versions to test (1 snipe and 2). At work for another hour and half, then I need to fix something and add 2 spawns on each side and want to start testing when I'm doen.

Awesome, I'll take a look at articles/guides on getting OS X running on an Eee.
There was no way I was about to let my mum use an XP Machine! :P
I need to get this Powerbook G4 looked at actually, I bought it on eBay a few months back, and it's been having Kernel Panics and the like since about a month after I got it.
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the HP Hard drive that's sitting in it, which I assume the seller put in before shipping, and I've read that Kernel issues are possibly caused by incompatible or improperly installed hardware.

I've started playing around with that new No Clip Merge technique, have you tried it out yet? If you're interested in seeing what I've done with it so far, you can see here.
I still haven't mastered doing it with Non-OLN objects, since I don't understand dummying, but it's going well right now.

That's certainly possible, since my Powerbook G4 was running nicely on Tiger, and I just upgraded rather than doing a clean install. I can't say Leopard is incredibly slow, since it's the same speed as machines I've been on before, but it's definitely noticeable when compared to how it used to run.

I completely agree. Everyone at College was getting hyped about some sort of chat feature that Blackberries have, and yet a friend of mine couldn't figure out how to change his name on there when someone else changed it to "***** BOY", paha >.>

What netbook are you running osx86 on? My mum is thinking of getting an Asus Eee, and I'd rather it were a Hackintosh than anything else, since I've already showed her how to use some features of OS X. (She's never used a computer before in her life, so y'know :P)

I most likely won't be getting this machine until late February to early March, so I'm sure you'd have it by then.
I've heard that it slows down machines that it doesn't come with, kinda like Leopard did to Tiger-standard machines, but apparently not as much as Leopard, so that's good.

Yeah, in Snow Leopard there are a load of things that point to the fact it may be a touch interface focused OS, plus there had been rumours of such a device, so it adds up. The Apple event coming soon should clear things up, I'm sure.
I'd love something similar to a Newton but bigger, say, 10".
Haha, everyone at College is getting Blackberries, and then I whip out the ol' iPhone and they stop trying to show off ;)

      Exactly, I don't understand it.
Unfortunately not, since the only time I'd use it would be at work (being that my only Intel machine is there) and right now I can't see any reason to buy it.
I'm pretty sure it comes with all new machines now, so if I end up with it on my machine before you buy it, I'll let you know how it is.
It's pretty cheap though, which is cool.
What do you think think of these Mac Tablet rumors?

Hmmm, I'm definitely leaning toward the iMac now, although I guess I have to wait and see exactly how much my mum has in the way of monies.
A friend of mine has one, and barely even uses OS X on it! He runs Vista about 80% of the time, it's disgusting.

Yeah, thing is, half the kids that are getting MBPs don't even use them to their full potential! It annoys me, especially when rich kids go for the most expensive machine and then only use it for Facebook, and uploading Photo Booth photos to show off their expensive machine.

Anyway, I'm leaning more toward the iMac since I no longer have a decent Monitor, and wouldn't wanna use the Pro with anything besides an Apple Cinema Display, just because.

I'm with you on that, chilling in large amounts.
      It was just disappointing.
Everyone said "We'll have so many parties" and then we only started having parties in the last couple of weeks! :P
Oh well, I've got my 18th to look forward to - I've been promised any computer I like.
Right now I'm thinking 3.06Ghz 24" iMac, but the new Mac Pros look nice!
