Definitely. Although Instinct snagged 3rd place at Dallas, they were struggling in their later games. Hopefully, they'll get some new strategies for Anaheim. Neighbor was my player to watch out for this tournament and it was nice to learn some new individual paths to take with snipe. Mauler/BR 1 is my favorite place to snipe and I'm going to learn a lot from Neighbor when he gets back from Dallas.
Sorry it took so long to respond. I was eating dinner. The strat looked like it was going well, but Instinct still lost that game. This just goes to show that you can't exactly rely on one player to win the game, especially at the higher levels.
Yup, every time I feel like playing something low ranked, I used to pop in a memory card and it would give me a 1month like usual! I've used them up on my HD and one memory card I think, I have a second, but I want a third anyway :P I love the 'MLG Hamburglar' GT though, so I might just use that with like a 3 month code or something.
Ah, I was going to ask whether you'd be down for playing if you were around my rank, but it's not to be, haha. I'm thinking of getting a new Memory Card so I can sign up more 1 month trial gold accounts, since you get something like three per separate memory unit. I just love playing Basic Training or whatever it's called and SWAT at really low levels for the fun of it. I might just get some Gold on my MLG Hamburglar account.
I actually noticed I've been playing it a fair bit more recently. Of course, SWAT is still my playlist, seeing as I got my 35 in it. It's just impossible to rank up at those levels in that playlist, so I can't be bothered to try and get any higher. What rank are you in SWAT?
Haha, yeah. tD had no chants/cheers and every snipe Carbon got the crowd went wild. I also liked seeing Naded controlling sniper most of the game. By the way, did you see the game when Instinct was running a set-up when Neighbor had sniper all game on Pit Slayer?
You have a point, I just remembered I was watching some older videos aswell last night. I've never been a huge fan of MLG, but I've enjoyed watching it just recently, which is strange.
Carbon has been impressive, but especially Walshy has been doing well and there have been a lot of "Walshy Chants".
Gandhi seems like a great player, but Shockwave is pretty damn shitty, in my opinion. I watched some of Str8 on Youtube last night, I have to say Neighbor is pretty damn good.
I'm hoping Amazon stick to their dispatch/delivery dates. I watched the MLG Firefight gameplay on Youtube, but I couldn't watch the live feed since it got too laggy for me. I was surprised about Carbon raping Str8 like they did!
I'm not really sure. You could hear members of uTi saying how they were only slaying after they got one cap and it came back and screwed them up later in the game. Final Boss ended up winning the series, but losing the next couple games to Instinct, I believe. I actually have watched all of today's games since I'm home taking care of my sick brother, so that's been pretty cool. Neighbor destroyed Walshy with a sick no scope on a game of Pit Flag. Puckett went crazy, lol.
