I disagree with the claim of venomous-ness that you asserted. You seem like an intelligent individual, & any flame war erupting from your post is just as much his fault as yours. It is perfectly natural for things to get out of hand quickly when someone is offended & misinterprets a critique. I've had to do a lot of criticizing both as a clan leader & as someone who deals with customers & lower-level employees during my *real* job on a constant basis, & I've found that honey and a stick work better than a stick alone. Not that I lie, but I try whenever possible to encase the critique in praise (and carbonite). Considering that I criticized the same things you did, I think the evidence supports my theory that it's all about phrasing. Either that or your flame war wore him out. In any case, it was rather awesome of you to 'confess' when there was no obligation to; for that alone, I've a rather high opinion of you. Thanks for the note, & I look forward to bumping into you more often.

Hey welcome to FH! i just thought I'd drop by and say hi :P Anyway you might notice that I've not really said anything about you're map on my post on you're map, its just that I think after you read a couple of the tuts in the 101 section you will understand where you have gone wrong and also what you're done well :P Anyway I would gladly go into forge at some point with you and give you some tips on how you can improve the V2 you are going to build on sandbox if you would like.
