Ok, I get it now.

I've never been a fan of the Pinnacle editing either which is why I capture the footage, then immediately send it over to Vegas.

Are you using Pinnacle Studio at all?

For the same quality, I'm sure I'd have to adjust the contrast, saturation and sharpness like you mentioned. I have Sony Vegas, so I can just make a preset with the correct settings and I can apply it to all my videos.

The Dazzle came with Pinnacle Studio and that's what I've been using to capture ever since I got it and the quality is good.

It doesn't seem to be as high quality as yours, but definitely an improvement considering the 1280 x 720 video size. Maybe it will be better with a Halo clip. I'll upload a perfection or something later in HD and I'll get back to you.

How did you get the HD quality out of a Dazzle 100? I use the same capture card, but my quality isn't that good... D:

Well with me, its complicated because I hate to buy things so I just download free trials & wait until they expire. After that, I move on to the next free trial. But anyways, right now I'm using a software called, "Camtasia Studio 6" which is a decent video editing software but I only use it to capture my film clips. When I'm done capturing my film clips they are in crappy quality. But I send all the footage to my friend Joe (I mention him in the credits of all my montages) and he does some kickass processing/filtering **** that makes the quality of my videos good. Then of course he sends them back to me and I start making my montage.
