You would be able to do the effects on any legendary or mythic map, and since you are still a beginner, it would be hard to do it on the legendary, because you would probably have to make the map floating. If I were you, I would just do it on Foundry and not use the effects, they can make it harder to see sometimes and that can hurt gameplay.

There have been things similar, but I don't think there has been anything exactly like that. It sounds like a good idea, you could also make it to where as the room got smaller, more close range weapons would spawn, starting with a mauler, and eventually you would get a shotgun, but that's up to you.

Sandbox is horrible. All you need to forge with is on Foundry, there are plenty of guides here on the site to help you. Check here
