Hey, I just got a mac and I've got a question. Do you have any idea how I can get the drivers for a capture card? And how I can get it to work on my mac?
lol. ***** calling me a *****? How ironic and hypocritical. XD I've not seen it yet, the theatres are like 20 minutes away and I cant drive yet.
rofl... Ponyo is already dubbed in english in small theaters over here that specialize in foreign films and indies
TDF recommended Totoro to me, havent watched it yet. And I've heard of The Cat Returns. Not quite sure which I'm going to watch next..
Spirited Away blew away my expectations. I assumed that I wouldnt like it that much due to the fact that I only like starting Anime shows I've seen like halfway through the series. but it was just amazing... Its overrated IMO. I liked the visual style as usual but the plot was too vague, like most Miyazaki films, but he usually answers some of the big questions that are kind of integral to the world he created. Howl's was a bit different in that respect. He kind of eschewed answers and just kept on with the story. I liked it, and I liked the characters themselves (especially that stick prince dude), but it was just different.
Princess Mononoke was recommended to me long ago by Shock and a friend of mine and they've been mentioning it over and over again so I finally gave it a go when I could find a proper version online. Grave of the Fireflies is another good one. Of all the Miyazaki films I've seen I'd rank them in this order Spirited Away >> Princess Mononoke >>>>>>>Grave of the Fireflies >>>>>>>>Howl's Moving Castle.
