If I'm communicating my perspective on something then I think it logical to include as much background logic and conclusions on my part, things which may be obvious to me as part of my own perspective but may well not be to others. Simply telling them what you think serves little purpose in comparison to explaining in as much depth as possible, exactly why you think that. If you want someone to understand your perspective in as clear terms as possible then you should make it as clear as possible right from the ground up. The only problem with this is lazy people, but this is hardly a major concern of mine ;).
