Ahhh, I get'cha. I've never really bothered watching MLG to be quite honest with you!
Custom icon for Adium? Well you can install custom menu-bar icons the same way you can with dock icons.
I was about to link you, but when I went to check the plugin section of the Adium site is down for some reason - surely not another site affected by goddamn LIVE being down?! haha.

I use a little leather pouch thing, I'll get a photo and put it in a spoiler at the bottom.
It works for what I need it for, making sure it doesn't get scratched by my USB or keys in my pocket, but it's definitely no hard case!
I just remembered seeing your little MLG menu bar item, where did you get it? I assume it's an Adium custom icon, but it could technically be anything :P

Yeah, that's what my dad's iPhone looks like now just through general use over the year or so.
Mine must have been taken off 'the back of a lorry' or some **** like that because it was pristine in an unopened box, but hey, I'm not complaining for that price!
Actually, I remember that in the Auction the guy said that he completely broke his, and went to the Apple store where they replaced it. He didn't bother activating that one because he preferred his old phone, ending up selling it.
Not quite as exciting as it being stolen but who cares :P

Yeah that makes absolute sense, I've got an 8GB and I have 1GB left, although I carry my Macbook Pro with me all the time anyway so I'm not bothered about music on my iPhone.
You really should get one though, regardless of storage.
My current one was £250 on eBay a week after the 3G's release, and I've seen the original models on there for about £190 these days.

Yeah you have a point. The 3G internet would be a reason to save up more and get that model, especially seeing as upon the 3G S's release the 3G's price will drop somewhat.
Even if it's not a considerable amount, it's a price drop all the same. :P

Everyone's getting so hyped about video, mms and copy+paste, but I really don't care when I already have all of the announced features on my original iPhone with apps available to me because it's jailbroken. So the 3G S is meh to me.

I remember when my dad got his iPhone and I was amazed at the size and shape, he ordered it online from the US before the UK release and was probably one of the first over here to have one, so I was like "WOAH! O.O" haha. :P

I greatly dislike the 3G in any form, it feels to cheap and plasticky. In fact I ended up getting one after I broke my original iPhone, and quickly sold it for a good £500 as they had only just come out, then treated myself to the obviously less desirable original iPhone. :P
I still love that model, I hope they bring the metal design back.

Yeah, the Mini is a great machine though, and I guess it's the size of the thing that 'makes it'.
Oh yeah, I remember I dropped my iPhone at a party and someone heard it hit the floor and wasn't aware of what it was, so used their shoe to slide it across the floor.
Thankfully the back was to the floor, so only that got scratched, but I was really freaking out!

They're somewhat simple, the entire top part just comes off but it's a pain to do as you have to slide something in the gap between the top case and the computer itself. Once you've done it once it's a joke how accessible it is though.
Then again, getting to certain parts is annoying, you'd have to take entire parts off to get to stuff like the Hard Drive, at least on my model.

It was pretty cool opening up my old iPod Nano, seeing how the click wheel worked and everything, but now the hold button is a little loose. :/
One thing I'd never open up is my iPhone, not only because it's pretty impossible, but because I just know I'd break it!

      Ahh, I see now! :P
My main at home is currently my Macbook Pro, as my Mac Mini (which happens to be still set up on the desk) had a hard drive failure when I took it to College and someone picked it up pretty violently while it was still running - some people are so stupid!

I get what you're saying, I had no trouble opening the Mac Mini after the second time, as I was used to hearing it click as the little clips opened up and everything.
I always loved taking stuff apart and putting it back together just for the fun of it as a kid, so hacking stuff apart just comes naturally :P

Nice, nice. I'm gonna do a little forging today and maybe capture some stuff. I'd go take a swim or something, but its ridiculously chilly right now.

Why, certainly. Glad to see that you're a part of the other thing, too. I'd like to get your input on what I've contributed when we can get together.
