Very nice. I used to play a little guitar, but stopped that altogether and focused on bass around the time of College.
I've also always found that I can read drum sheet music a lot easier than I can guitar sheet music. I may start learning drums every now and then, when I get an hour or two free.

I have to say I prefer sound over looks, but when you get a bass that looks good as well then you can't really complain!
Do you play/own anything other than bass?

Hmmm, I think a lot of the Warwicks look kinda same-y, I guess that's why I like the Dolphine over others.

Hahah, well that's precise and to the point!
What do you think the most attractive bass is then? I'd have to say the Warwick Dolphine personally.
I mean, look how nice this is!

Oh yeah, I absolutely hate Precisions, but I really liked that particular bass! :P

Fender are incredibly overrated, I find that the somewhat smaller companies, such as Ibanez and Aria produce the same tone and overall quality as basses about $500 more expensive.

That's a good point. I reserved a Fender Jazz American Standard a while back (the one with the button in the Tone control which changes the entire sound) but when I went to pick it up from the store, they'd sold it to someone else who actually went in to get it.
I haven't seen a Jazz for that price since, it was about $200/$300 less than the retail.

Yeah, playing a certain brand makes perfect sense to me.
I'd either play Ibanez or Aria, Aria because I like the tone I have right now.
Ibanez because I really like their tone, I just couldn't afford it at the time.

yeah sorta, took one pic with the center line on the bottom, turned 180 and took another, then went into photo shop and spliced them together.

Yeah, I'd love a Warwick. My friend's dad was willing to sell a Dolphine to me for around $500, but I didn't have the money at the time so he sold it to someone else, which was obviously a shame.
I remember playing the SR300 a while back, when I first bought my current bass, it had a really nice tone.

I play an Aria IGB-30, it was really cheap, but wasn't too cheaply made and I really like the tone. Although I've ended up breaking the volume control and need something new.

Here's a photo of mine, that's not literally it but it looks exactly like this.

Well the specifications of the BA-115 certainly look good, I may well end up going for that.
Also, what bass do you use? It looks like an awful lot like a Warwick, but I seem to remember you mentioning that it was an Ibanez.

Hey, I've been listening to some of the band's stuff and was just wondering, what's your setup?
I'm looking to get a new head/all-in-one amp, and can't really decide what to go for.
I'd mostly be playing in a similar style to yours, which is why I thought of coming to you for advice.

      Cheers :)

I'm a 36 year old dude that has always been in love with Halo. I was one of Halo 3's most active forgers, and have had several maps featured on Forgehub, as well as had a map in Halo 3 matchmaking rotation. These days, I mostly just forge for relaxation and for something to play with my personal friends when we can get together.
