I'd be looking at £800 compared to the £650 for the studio 17.

Difference is the XPS has a 2.2ghz processor and only 2 gig ram, whereas the studio has a 2.0 and 4 gig. Also the 9400m card looks fairly wack compared to the ATI one,

I'd prefer a small, light laptop,

Do you think the XPS laptops are a ripoff?

Been through it and through it, i think the Studio 17 is actually the best option.

At the moment it's the same price as the 15, so i'm getting a 2 inch bigger screen for the same price. The only actual difference is the graphics card, and after a bit of research, i believe that the 3650 on the 17 is actually better than the 4570 on the 15. On top of that, it means i can have the illuminated keyboard option, and 64 bit is available on the 17 so it outweighs both the inspiron and the studio 15.

£630 though, and i have about £230 now so i'll need about £80-90 to just magically appear :/
