you are astonished by my thank you? lol! I am astonished by your double checking. If it was some other mod/admin/guard they would just delete the post. You made sure everything was fine before you took any action. Pegasi 4 Prez!
This is the one thing I found in my 30 second search. Other sources actually said that PHP came with Panther, so there was no need to install it.
Sorry, I don't really have any advice when it comes to installing PHP, since we pay for our server and it comes pre-installed. ;) In this case, I usually offer to Google for solutions, but it appears that you have already done that. What OS are you running on the server?
Actually, XF is my first foray into anything Web related. I had done basic HTML and such before, but I had to teach myself Javascript, AJAX and PHP to get everything running the way it is now. Although, my programming background really helped in that aspect. So, if you need any help with anything, just let me know. ;) What are you going to Uni for? I know exactly what you mean too, because I have a brother and sister that are currently 8 and 10, respectively, so I grew up around little kids for the latter part of my life as well. Most people I talk to say I'm crazy for getting married so early, and then they find out I have a daughter as well.....
I guess that depends upon what facet of life you are inquiring about. XF: Everything Work: Software Engineer at IBM Life: Married with a 4 month old daughter So, in general, I stay pretty busy.
That's a pretty decent point about the pricing in NYC. It defenitley wouldn't be an easy get-together. I'll get back to you later; I can't type on my iPod :p
Ahhh why Dallas? I don't understand why they don't host one in NYC. If I were chairman, that's where I would put the biggest event. MLG is an EST-time based association anyway. Anyway enough complaining haha. Yeah, we need to somehow practice together. I wish I could set my NAT to Open, but I suck with routers and stuff so that's not happening anytime soon.
Haha. I'm so wiped out right now. I spent the last 20 hours playing MLG LANS with my friends nonstop with an hour or two of Resident Evil 5 in between. My thumbs are sore. LANs are so much fun though, there's no lag and it improves gameplay so much better. I wish you could set up LAN tournaments without being in the area. 30,000 ft ethernet cables FTW.
Shadow viper responded, so don't worry about him. Also, the reply I sent to Knob Lad wasn't really a complaint, but I was trying to talk to him about it. So, I didn't really have a problem with it until I found out it was a perm. So either he didn't read my PM at all, or it didn't seem like a complaint to him. Well this is something I'll just deal with for now. It's not like I'm dying. You helped a bit though.
