Hmmm well let me basically explain the workflow.
First, I used the pen tool to render the stock you provided. Then I saved the render and copied it. I opened a new document and pasted it in and put the background in, too. I moved it around and resized it until I liked what I got. Then I added a gradient map (or a few) set to soft light and put the c4d in. Finally I added the text. I put one layer down, duplicated it, selected the back one and did a motion blur to it. That's it pretty much.

Ok, but it needs some work. Never center the focal, it make the sig not as good. also, it looks like u just slapped the c4d on. Remember to play around with adjustment layers and don't just follow tuts, make something u like.

They are both good starts. The second doesn't seem to really blend into the background even though they are the same color... but it seems like you get the general concept
Try making some sigs with stocks instead of renders and try out some tutorials.
