And that is where he breaks his back yea. But as for Robin, would Gordon's son be Robin? And if so, then I'd think he is too young right? This would have to be like, a year later or so, or they introduce someone new as Robin, and throughout the movie, they could have him, being trained and helped by a hiding Batman, fighting the mobs and trying to take out Bane. And then it is not until Bane discovers Batman's identity that Bruce comes out as Batman, and his back is broken, and that is when Robin comes and has to defeat Bane. Then movie 4 would be over 9-10 months later, when Batman's back is healed and then introduce new villain.

Although now thinking of it, there are two things I think of.

1. It would sort of continue what the Joker wanted, which was for everyone to want Batman to leave the city as they need.

2. It would end up as another one of those movies where they they wait until something truly ****ed up happens to really want him back, like Spiderman 3 and the newer Hulk, where not until the villains really come into focus does the city call for their hero.

I know putting him in hiding, making him hunted, would be cool, and maybe if they make it so that he literally is being hunted as he goes, like fighting cops, fighting swat, etc, would go well, but I don't want to see this go generic superhero style.

Bane would be good because he can get Batman out of hiding.

Actually, just came to mind, but they should go by the comics somewhat, and have Bane figure out who Batman is. It could also bring Reese back into the picture, as you said. Because then Reese has a purpose.

and I realize they can't forget completely that Reese knows who Batman is, but what are they going to really do?

Also, don't forget how the movie ends. It ends with them having to chase Batman as he pretends to have killed those people and Dent. What about that in the next movie?

Obviously it depends on where the next one takes off, but I would think that due to that ending, they will need to make the next one begin with Batman still in hiding maybe? What do you think about what they will need to do, with the way this one ended.

And to Jay, who is saying Mr. Reese is Mysteries = Riddler, I really don't see that as a hint to the Riddler. The fact his name said fast can sound like that, really doesn't imply he'll be the riddler. Especially with the actor and way they portrayed that character. It would be sort of unbelievable to believe he becomes the riddler, and his only role in Dark Knight was to give them a reason to continue the story, lead to the destruction of Gotham General and create some good plot lines.

And other villains aren't dark/realistic enough for this series. Mr. Freeze- unrealistic, Killer Croc-who I'd like to see though, isn't too realistic. Yes his condition is explainable, but it still is somewhat reaching. Mr. Zsasz, who is dark/realistic, idk... is he someone who would really be devious enough for the series, to lead the whole 3rd film in an effort to do what? Kill Batman, maybe... but idk, I don't see that happening. And others like Poison Ivy or Catwoman or Man-Bat or others just don't work.

I really see Bane as the best option to continue the series. Maybe Riddler for the fourth film, but not the second.

Then I'll write the essay. lol... no I probably won't... but maybe I will...

and yea I know what you mean about Depp. That's what makes me unnerved about it.

What made Dark Knight so good is how Heath BECAME the Joker. You would never think that was Ledger, because it wasn't like him.

And yea, I wasn't too keen on the idea of Robin, but it could work. I really think he would be the best choice.

Also, and I know itd be changing it up a little maybe from the comics, but if they wanted, they could say that the still at large Scarecrow is the one who supplied Bane with the venom in the first place, but that isn't very important.

I just feel that he is the only one that would fit. Riddler wouldn't be good, especially with Depp. Some people wanted Penguin, but he just isn't a Nolan-esque villain, and he is a suckish villain as it is.

Someone who agrees with me!!! I'm confident Nolan will do him correctly, and make him great.

Imo, Riddler just would'nt be good. He is less vicious and ruthless than the Joker, and isn't as threatening imo as Joker. Although Bane isn't as big a villain as the Joker, I think he can bring the series to a new level, with Batman having to fight someone so powerful, while he is still just as psychological as Joker... I feel like we should write a 10 page essay to Nolan, explaining the epicness that could ensue from placing Bane into the series. So long as it doesn't focus too much on his need for Venom and that ****...

And finishing, my whole family started talking about the third movie. So I was all like,

And my dad is like, but they did Bane.

And Im like, that bane sucked ass and was a retarded villain. This one will kick ass, be the intelligent villain he was in the comics, and kick ass.

And then my dad is all like, lol but he ends up breaking Batman's back.

And I was all like, they dun has to do that in the movie.

And then he was like, riddler could be good.

And I was like, ya mehbeh...

and that was close to it... XD
