Highlight the word you want to become the link with your mouse cursor, and then click the chain-earth logo. It'll pop up with a small box, in which you can put the link to the map. Click OK, and voila!

use the hyperlink manager. it's in the toolbar and it should look like Earth with a little chain under it.
