From what I've heard, runner up gets some activity for your map still ,and I'd like that. One day I'd like to see every game I run into of fatkid turn into a map the likes of Manifest or Township's style.

Also I've found that the tagging system on Bnet is very good for a constant source of Dl's. You should try it. I simply got 5 tags on zombies and 4 on infection map: and my old version of Township has gotten 50-100 DLs since I posted the newer version (time period of almost 2 weeks). It's at the top 3 results for map varients with those tags.

The only reason i said is because the issue with BOF is that there are so many maps out there deserving, that it's the one that it's in the persons head that will get the vote. Just providing the name of your map can persuade someone massively.

Sorry bout the penguin thing. I knew he liked my map and I asked him if he could help me out with a vote. I didn't know he already voted when I sent it. He then said he'd change his vote, even though I insisted he didn't. I really just think he should keep his vote as he originally had it.

Would you mind removing the BOF information from your Sig? Providing attention gives your map an unfair advantage. It's not that i don't think you deserve it, and i'm not being picky, it's just i don't want to see something like that catch on, and if people see it they are going to start doing it themselves.

well you are obviously going to win, with our with out my vote, and if one more vote really means something to you i will change it back, so I just picked my second favorite map. So it can make it into the top 5 category whitch is township.Seriously though, i will aboslutely change it back if one more vote really means something to you I just thought you really wouldn't care for one more anonymous vote. :)

i didnt get it done... but its ****in close. i got about another hour of work.. maybe two. Im gonna finish it off sometime tomorrow, then ill be looking for help testing it all this week. Linu will unfortunately be on vacation starting tomorrow for a week, so i cannot post it until hes back.

I warn you though...it looks REALLY rough because I deleted what was the "final" version due to glitches in forge (such as items randomly disappearing)

and the versions I do have are very cramped (infinite money glitch + spawning items + no deletion = clutter)

Like I said, I've had this done for months. It focuses on atmosphere like no other map I've ever seen, like not the actual aesthetics, but the feeling the game looks like itll produce.

I've more experience than anyone else on the site concerning zombie maps/games methinks since I usedta run a 500-daily-visitor Zombie Mod server on CSS....so I know how to prevent camping, keep it fun, etc.

but yeah I'll write out the map stuff in a few minutes to let you know what its like, or I could show you online so you get a better idea

I've got an infection idea that I could line out for you, the map has been 90% constructed for 6 weeks, but its very similar to the "new infection experience" you and Sweeny were trying to make. Many forgers on the site (LIGHTS, Vice, Shock especially) have been telling me to finish it, but yeahhhh

it covers scoring AND camping.

the only reason I didnt finish it is because forge was prone to glitches.

once my conquest map is done ima rebuild it from scratch (for the 8th time)

but I can list out the qualities and maybe you can get some ideas.
