Yea but you'll probably need a new xbox lead if you want good quality. You will want a composite cable, which does way better quality, and isnt on the normal cable. The downside is you only get composite, RPG and 1 red/white sound, so when your capping with this cable your game will have no sound and the tv quality will be worse than your laptop. You might be able to find a different cable though.

Well mine is the cheapest and supposed to be the worst one you can get, and youv seen the quality i can get. It's class even full screen, on a larger resolution than it's captured at.

Mines called dvc100, and the number goes up for newer better ones. I think its the 130 one, which is black, which captures 60hz, meaning you can get colour. Remember i got that bullshit black and white thing and had to get around it with another program.
