I didn't really quit. I just don't have anyone to play with. I don't like playing matchmaking by myself, and I don't have anyone to play customs with because I don't have the patience to sit through the forge sessions with the guys from the MLG forge forum you play with. I get on whenever I see you are online because games like the one of Onslaught with Orange that time are awesome, but you are normally in a game. It's just finding the games that is the issue. I also have a bunch of friends playing Madden again, so I have been playing a lot of that.

I got a new working headset though. The same one.

It still bugs me. Shows you how much of a family man I am, lol.

Looks like Harmony won't be ready this weekend after all. I've got family staying at the house and I won't be able to get online in the evenings like I was hoping. ****.

I have about 3 "other versions" of Archetype in some stage of development. But I don't have much time for Forge anymore. My Wifey went back to school, which leaves me with both kids at night after I get out of work. The little time I do have to play, I like just messing around with friends in other games.

Sooner or later I hope to get all of my ideas out of my head. I love arena style maps. I also love quirky off the wall maps. I just wish I had more time to get all of these ideas out of my head.

I was planning on sending it to you and running more tests to make sure it's ready and finished. I personally don't like to have a ton of updates. There are always going to be things tweak/change, but there comes a point where you have to give it up warts and all and hope the majority of people dig what you've done.

The tactical jump sounds like a great idea. I've got two window panels left, so I could use one there.

Yeah, that'd be great. One of the things I liked about adding the upper corner walls like that is it would eliminate that insane break alt was able to do.

This is what I'm shooting for with the snipe tower base:

I took out the vertical boxes to give a better view. I'm out of double boxes, so a bridge will have to do for a ramp to the street. Plus having a bridge instead of a box will keep that portion right under the snipe tower from becoming a dead zone. May or may not geo it, depending on where it ends up.

That sounds exactly like what I had in mind. I've already moved in the back wall, and hopefully you can't get over it from the garage door (I couldn't grenade-jump to it, but that doesn't mean much).
I like Nasty's idea of the extended snipe platform and the other way to the street, and if budget will allow another jump pad I'll do it. I'll definitely be adding the window to the bridge platform tower; that was a great idea.
I'll shoot you an invite if I see you online this week to show you what I've done so far.
