He isn't mythical, he's a fictional character from a book made by some author who escapes me. Again, it's been said there was no blood transfusions, no dialysis, nothing but a few wires and lightning to keep him being, so his entire being is really a falsehood. Assuming he did exist, though, his body parts would eventually rot completely do to lack of blood flow (ie; no immune system) so stoning would tear him apart but would not kill him. Fire would burn away all the rotted flesh and, yes, destroy him, but Frankie could only truly be killed by deterioration or removal of the brain, seeing as that's the only organ required for both movement and, to be blunt, life.

You would have to kill the brain alone to kill him I'm fairly sure; he was a compilation of dead body parts and kept alive by some other means than blood, so it's fairly easy to say that "stoning" him wouldn't do much harm to him. The most effective way of killing him would most likely be pulling out the bolts on his neck, as electricity keeps him alive (I assume, please prove me wrong), but he had a special fear of fire.

Frankenstein was already dead, for one, and I'm sure that he would die by fire's hands instead due to the angry crowds. Stoning wouldn't kill him seeing as how his body is already dead, so your efforts are for naught.
