TWO-SIDED STORY Created by EL1TE 50LD1ER Supported Gametypes: Team Slayer, Assault, Capture the Flag Map Description TWO-SIDED STORY is a symetrically based 2 team multi-player map whose base map is foundry. Either half of the map is owned by either team with a wall dividing the middle. There are many ways around and over this wall to get into the other team's half. This map features an energy sword on a high platform surrounded by fusion coils, two gunner turret towers, two sniper towers, overshield and invisibility power-ups (one on either side of the map) Both teams bases are almost identical with a surrounding wall around the inner-sanctum of each base, a small bunker which serves as a barracks and starting point, a roof platform on the barracks, a sniper tower on the roof platform and two gunner turret towers accessible by jumping from the sniper towers. Outside of the inner sanctum of each base is a large fighting area with small corridors, semi-open spaces and tactically placed weapons and equipment. Your images arent working so I cant really comment on the map at all. Im not sure but I beleive you have 24 hours before the thread gets locked to fix your images. Ill edit this post if images get updated ;p EDIT: Its fixed so I will comment, the layout looks nice, it just looks a bit sloppy and theres a few unorthadox peices of forging there, such as 3-4 fusioncoils grouped together and a turret on top of an open box. From the first picture I see theres a stairs going straight to the wall with nothing to walk and and then you go straight onto what looks like a roof, you need a bit of floor at the top of the stairs. As I said, overall looks nice but could do with more aesthetics and cleaner forging.
Edit: Good job on getting your pics posted! I like the way the map looks it is definitely better than most first posts on Forgehub. You told us about some equipment and the turrets but try letting us know what all the weapons and supported gametypes are, too. (and just in case you didnt know there is a Forging 101 forum that will better improve how you forge here) Cant wait to see what all you will bring and welcome to Forgehub.
EDIT: Well everything seems fixed. And sorry for posting this, but the comment from BlackDragon didn't show up till I was done. The map is great, with a little forging 101 and a little more neatness, you are guaranteed a decent amount of DL's. I've seen messier maps, and even maps which aren't maps. Welcome to ForgeHub, a great community. Just get used to the occasional bad reviewer and mean-as-hell person and you're sure to have a great time. And B3NW, I checked and it was down for me.
Jezuz C & P much and this has been posted 3 times now, I warned him and was going to edit my post once he had fixed, I even sent him a PM of how he can get the screenshots, there want need to post this much information. Plus Haloscreenshots looks like its up to me?
The fusion coils are to add risk if someone tries to grab the energy sword, as they can be easily sniped and that box isnt open although the angle makes it look like it is.
Okay but you only need 1 max 2 up there AND YOUR TELLING ME THAT... The box on the right isnt an open box? Dont take me for an idiot
ooohh right... my bad, i put that there so that if your jumping from box to box you can go right through under the turret.
great first post! looks pretty good i see some merging which is good, but a little messy but other than that great job!
