I have seen a lot of maps with modded immovable geometry, and I was wondering. Why hasn't anyone made a LEGIT competitive map with mods? The possibilities would be endless. Just a thought. I know there is no mods on forge hub, but I would really like to see a modded map that plays well, and has the kinds of structures we see with forged maps.
Um, I don't think we're even allowed to discuss mods. [sub]Check this guy's maps: Forge Hub - View Profile: Picceta[/sub] They're not TERRIBLE.
Umm I cant check those but by the sound of the thread, your linking to mods? Discussing is allowed I think as long as you dont discuss how to do it, give mods to people or help them get them.
Go to his profile and check threads started by user. Some of them look pretty good, and I have seen a few before.
So is it possible to completely build maps through modding? Or does it require just glitching some object but still use forge to put them together. Would it be possible to glitch in more of a certain object, like say more light orbs? I don't really understand how it works.
I wont go into it but basicly, they forge one object, look at the code for it, change that object to another objects code. Thats simple modding and the most common. Theres sites dedicated to this (There not exactly hard to find) and your welcome to go there and find them but on forgehub your not aloud to post modded maps or direct people to modded maps
i saw one of piccetas maps about 2 years ago and it inspired me to get into forge. i didn't even know he did modding xD
