If you know how to interlock and merge then you know how to forge. Nobody can make you better except for yourself through practice and the learning of patience. Nobody seems to understand there really are no tips for forging that aren't common sense. Time does it all.

Hm ok. I somewhat know how to merge and interlock, but i just cant seem to nail it. I have worked on it, maybe I should just keep trying.

All the tools you need to make a good map are in forging 101. But you could be taught what each and every tool is, and still come out with crap.

Like, for example, anyone can stop animate. You just take picture after picture and move something little by little. It takes A LOT of patience and practice. Nobody can tell you anything other than that to make you a good stop animator. You could have all the programs, read all the tutorials, and still come out with a jittery, unimaginative, stop animation.
