    Conservancy is a medium sized map with three levels. the map fits all required mlg rules and is compatable with 3 gametypes ( team slayer, king of hill and odd ball). the map is symmetrical and even has a working grav lift!

    this map for king of hill follows the mlg kingofhill standard by going 1 2 1 3 order

    more of map desciption located down below with pics

    guns:
    br x 7= 10 secdons 2 clips, (they are positions evenly on each side there is one br in the center top floor)

    carbine x2= 60 seconds 2 clips

    mauler x 1= 150 seconds 0 clips

    frags 4 sets of 2= 30 seconds

    plasmas 2 sets of 4= 30 seconds

    1 camo = 120 second


    now for a description of the map and pics

    overview (cross is there just because i wanted it there and has no effect on gameplay)

    this is consider 2nd floor center here mauler and the oddball spawn here along with the first and main hill. you can access the outer sides and the 1st floor from here

    this is the left outer side where you can access all 3 levels of the map from here (same with the right outer side). a BR spawns here with a carbine not far and 2 sets of frags here

    THIS IS WHERE the starting points are for each gametype

    the right side outer rim but at a different angle showing the lower ramp (that leads to the lowest floor) on that lower ramp you will find the carbine and the 1 set of frag i mentioned in the top pic

    here is the top level of the map where the 2nd hill spawns in king of hill you will find 1 set of plasma and 1 br here in the center and you can c the exit of the grav lift that came from the 1st floor

    the lowest point of the map where you can find the grav lift taht leads you up to the highest point of map. here you can find the last hill in king of hill and 2 brs in this room, and you will find the last set of plasmas on this map, from this room you can walk up to the main 2nd floor or walk out onto the sides of the map

    From the pictures, I can tell this map had effort put into the forging. I loved the balcony where the oddball was. But the one thing I think you should reconsider is the camo. In MLG, I feel that camoflauge is unfair, but that could just be me. Maybe put a custom power up. But I like how you were different from other MLG map makers for once and put a camo in. Other than that, I like the map and I will have to get a game on it soon. I have it downloaded, but just need to find the time. Nice map.

    As for the map, I would recommend adding more screenies to where we can get a better ideal of the layout before anyone d/l's. I dont have my box atm so it is hard for me. I like the decision to use a camo instead of a CPU there unlike someone suggested because (from what i can tell) a CPU would possibly be burned quite often in that position. I may be wrong though because the pillar type thing there and i cant really tell if you could get an outside angle to easily cause a burned custom. Although you might want to consider removing the platform the camo lies on to promote better flow. Just makes it much better when you dont have to jump when it is unnecessary. If doing so makes you feel the area is to empty, you could replace it with a /--\ (sorry that i might not be able to make it clearer) type thing, sorta like the structure in the back of the bases on Battle Creek and put a custom/camo under it or maybe a power weapon like rockets on top if you feel the need to change it.
    Altogether the map looks nice, i really wish i could test it out and give better input but i cant because no box.

    first off i have no idea wat /--\ means sorry i have no idea wat ur talkin about dottii

    but for the camo situation... it was a custom powerup but that was way too powerful for a map of this size. i really wanted something there so i just went with camo

    as for the pictures, i covered all the map, its just hard to see how everything connects. ive done enough with this map this weekend (and half of my summer) so ill add them another day

    hey, I am not saying anything bad, ok. All I am doing is simply giving the forger a opinion about a item he has put in. And for the record, I have played MLG, and I do have a good Idea about weapons, and power ups on MLG maps. I just don't happen to like camoflauge, I don't think it plays well in MLG.

    By this logic, have your arse blasted inwards by a Scorpion when you spawn on a hill in Avalanche Heavy is also fair. I mean, that must have happened to almost anyone who's played BTB.

    That said, camo doesn't seem unfair for mlg. Unless he snags a mauler as well, then it's pretty much a tactical device rather than a "power-up" Then it's just for the mapmaker to split up the mauler and the camo.
