Well, Which games are you most excited for?
Pick your number one and tell us why.

    Heres my Top 5

    5)DJ Hero
    4)Batman Arkham Asylum
    3)Modern Warfare 2 PE
    2)Halo 3 ODST
    1)Lost Planet 2

I picked Lost Planet 2 because the first one had so much potential. With the new one comes a new eye-pleasing setting, new and improved badass mechs, more giant monsters, and most of all 4 player co-op!

    1) Batman: Arkham Asylum
because i have always been a fan of batman and the demo was amazing. It showed so much stuff and i just fell in love with it.

    2) Halo: ODST
because i love halo 3 and i plan to own each game bungie release from now on but mainly i want it because i need it to get the last vidmaster achievments.

    3) left 4 dead 2
because i loved the first game and it looks like the second one is the same but with more cool stuff.

    4) CoD: modern warfare 2
because i liked Cod4 (not so keen on 5) because of its multiplayer and CoD6 seems to just be CoD4 with more cool stuff.

    5) Bioshock 2
because i sort of liked the first one and i just feel like getting the second.

    Assassin's Creed 2:
Despite the opinions many shared about the first one, I loved it and played it endlessly for hours. I am the kind of person that creates challenges for myself when the game doesn't present them for me, provided that the game gives me enough freedom to accomplish such a goal. Much like I do in Fable 2, I would engage in sword fights with the intent of not getting hurt once, and streamline a series of impressive flourishes to the end victory. Over time, I progressed into fighting larger and large crowds, one time facing around 20 guards in a single stand. The second game promises an even better experience, with many new and unique weapons, moves, and enemies.

    Mass Effect 2:
I love Bioware, they always put out titles that I adore and get addicted to, and Mass Effect was one of them. The game was fantastic, from the RPG aspects to the shooting aspects, with a great story and fun exploration all the while. Sadly, I only rented it and because of such I charged into the campaign instead of taking things slow. I fear doing such now, because Bioware is implementing a decision element that spans multiple games, where choices made in Mass Effect will affect Mass Effect 2. This alone is almost enough to get the game.

    Bioshock 2:
As you can see, a pattern is developing. Sequels. The only explanation I can muster is the fact that the first games made such a great impression, I have no doubts about the sequel. Bioshock 2, however, steps beyond just churning out another story to span the length of a game, but has evolved many aspects of the original Bioshock. I had a wonderful connection to the plot of the first game, and I see myself having the same in the second, but now we see it from new eyes as a Big Daddy. This opens up many new weapon options, of which I am eager to try. But beyond that, it changes the basic mechanics of the fighting structure. Before, splicers were troublesome pests that could do you a quite a bit of hurt alone. However, now, you overpower them so greatly that it will take groups of the same enemy to be much of a bother. That is an experience I look forward too. Beyond that, there is promises of multiplayer being designed by another studio focusing solely on the multiplayer experience. I can't remember who it was, but what I have seen has impressed me.

Knights of the Old Republic MMO:
Alright, I was a huge fan of the Kotor games for the original xbox, and still play them to this day. Again, creations of Bioware. This game is sadly an MMO, meaning a more than likely monthly fee which saddens me. Regardless, if I get the chance to, I will be getting this game. With many different classes, each playing out their own individual storylines, its like we are getting multiple games in one.

    MAG:
Now, I do not own a PS3 and probably won't anytime in the near future, but I look forward to this game regardless. For people that know me, I am a sucker for urban combat/environment, and love the feeling of large battles. So, for obvious reasons (256 to be exact), I am drawn to this game. I will get a chance to play it, for I know my friend is purchasing it and he owns a PS3, but its not just that I want to play it, I want to see it succeed. Often times, large scale battles such as these are discouraged because of the subsequent lag and general chaos it logically "encourages". However, I think MAG will show that games can hold 256 players without terrible lag or chaos, and if they pull off such a feat then I have a feeling many other game designers will attempt to as well.

    1)Halo 3 ODST
    Meh, pretty obvious why.
    2)MW2
It will be so much better than WaW, no more shitty weapons. And the multiplayer gameplay look sick.
    3)Crackdown 2
I played countless hours of the first one, even just to collect, and gameplay was so much fun. Jumping around shooting stuff doesn't get boring for me :p 18 collectible orbs have still eluded me though...
    4)Splinter Cell:Conviction
I loved the older spy stealth based splinter cells, from what I've read this one will be really fun.
    5)Halo:Reach
Seems like it has a lot of potential, bungie's making it (they've never let me down yet)so I've got my hopes high on this, and because it's halo.

    This.

If this game comes out and succeeds in what its planned for, its completely revolutionizing an MMO or making a new genre all by itself. I'll be spending a lot of time on a neighbor's PS3.

Halo 3 ODST too, of course.

    1. Borderlands: it looks fun, has co-op and over a million guns. What more could a guy want?

    2. Darksiders: its an rpg for the xbox and it looks brutal and kinda like devil may cry, both of which are qualities that I like.

    3. FFXIII or Final Fantasy 13: its final fantasy, need I say more?

    4. Mass Effect 2: the first was good but not good enough they couldn't improve it, I like to hope that this one won't need any fixing.

    5. Tekken 6: I loved the older installments from the playstation and such and am glad I get to play it on my xbox now, as it was my favorite fighting game and is still to date.

(Yeah, that's right, no halo 3: odst, I'm not excited about it at all. I just need to get it, there is quite a difference.)
