THANKS 4 FLYING on MONGOOSEAIRWAYS I never intended to release this map, but after a few hours of testing I realized the fun factor overshadows everything else. MONGOOSE AIRWAYS is set up as a two base map. Your teams spawns with the opponents flag and must ride a mongoose down the runway, over the gap, and land on your opposition’s runway leading you to score. Of course the simplest objectives are always the most difficult. i love the concept, it seems really really fun, but from looking at it, i would say put two ramps, cuz it seems like it would be very hard to get across
That's the point. If it were easy to cross then what's to stop you from getting the point so easily? I'd have to say that this idea's brilliant. But I'm guessing it has to be played with 4 players minimum (2x - 1 driver and 1 carrier), plus you need alot of other players to shoot down the opposition. I like it because it's like tug-of-war. So anyway I'll applaud this map for a 10/10 concept, a 8/10 design, and a 7.5/10 for crafting. Overall I'll rate this a 9/10 because of the fun factor, which is what really counts in the end.
I think that there should be at least 2 other mongeese riding as distractions, and alittle less shooters. Very cool concept though, seems like a blast
wow this looks great awesome job and the hardness is the point you have my DL creativity 10/10 funfactor 10/10
For those of you wanting to try this out, you may want to eliminate the plasma pistol as a starting weapon. I have found people like to camp with them at the end of the ramp making life pure hell. I may in the future decided to update this map using shield doors as runways to avoid that problem. In reply to the quality issue: I put this map together in a few minutes. I told my buddy I was making the worst map ever in honor of the Bungie favorites. But I soon realized I was designing with a concept. Something Bungie rarely looks for. If you are into quick challenging chaotic objective games keep your eyes open. I always figured customs should be designed first for fun where people aren't worried about kill/death and medals. Most of my games are based around attrition and balls out effort. Next: Dirty Flags on Locker Room
Wow, this is stupendous! Simple, short, and fun! One teaser, spawning with an object that is intended to go to the other teams base sounds a lot like... assault! Plus, if you use bombs instead of flags, you can end with and explosion! its just a thought...
