Power Cell started off as just a side project with Sentry and Complex Alpha my two main projects at the time. However, as it grew, I began to really like the simple layout, and it turned out into a fine 2v2 map. Its only real power weapon is the sword, which makes for a powerful combination if you can get your hands on camo as well (More difficult to get away with than it may appear). There are also 2 carbines, 6 BRs, 4 SMGs, 2 plasma rifles, and 4 plasma grenades. The layout mainly consists of the middle stairs, a bridge under those stairs below sword, the camo box, and the tubes. Power Cell will be added to the Forge Union Doubles ladder for Team Slayer and Multi Flag, as the testing has already been done for both. I am looking into Dubs bomg and Dubs Rally for v3. This map looks lovely at first glance, and when my DL queue is cleared I think I'll be downloading this for a more i depth review. I seem to notice some irregularities in the map. However, pictures sometimes lie with maps, so I will have to check it out. The Forging is excellent, the layout is really intriguing, so I give this map a 8/10 Good job!
are there any brute shots on the map cause if there are you can get out of this map also in the tube corners it looks like you can fall in the hole behind it if there is actually a whole there i cant really tell for sure
Are you sure this map is inescapeable? I'm having my doubts... But anyway, I'll rate the concept of this a 7/10 as though it's simple but perhaps there's not enough depth to it. I'll rate the designing of it a 9/10 because you put the cover in all the right places and the sword is in a nifty spot too, as cover is within a moment's reach after picking it up, but you could get a little more risky in attempting the active camo. And I'll give the crafting of it a 7.5/10 because you used interlocking when it was necessary, but to real forging critics they might tell you that the symmetry is "off a degree", which I don't really notice or care about when I'm playing a game, but apparently alot of other people do. Overall I'll give this a 4/5 because it's deserving a play, and it would be in my opinion a nice team doubles showdown map.
I'm getting really sick of posting maps here. If you would just DOWNLOAD THE MAP before posting, you could see there is no hole, and no brute shot. Nobody has been able to break it yet, but if someone does, please tell me.
