This is neato! It's a pity that you didn't build a more structured map around the locust, because It's just too good of an idea. I love how the banshee allows the clean angling of the shots. I can't think of any idea of a better locust. It's a 5/5 as far as potential.
wow nice use of a banshee. And great first attempt at a locust. Cant wait to see more 4/5 (lost a point for slopey) FSC RedNeck
It would be interesting to see a locked down cobra opposing it as they seem to be evenly matched. You could 'lock-down' a Gauss Warthog as they use the same type of weaponry and are very similar, they both use coil guns.
I like this a lot, I looked at maps here before I joined and this looks better than a lot of aesthetic maps. I never really liked Halo Wars but I know I wouldn't be able to make that.
It's great to see more and more great aesthetic maps being made by forgers such as yourself who obviously have a great amount of talent in the field. This map is no exception, although the design of it is rather simple that does not let it down in any way, it's resemblance of a locust is remarkable though the one small thing that I would change would be to the head of the locust, after looking at a picture of one, the one difference I noticed was that the head of the actual locust was a lot more elongated but that is only a small thing and would be easy to change but you could also add a few more minor details if you wanted such as the gas tanks on the back, but as I said these are just small things and I was very impressed by the resemblance and you obviously have a galant for aesthtics, I look forward to seeing your next map. And to whoever said this map was slopey I'd like you to point out what part of it is slopey because I have looked at the pictures thoroughly and can find no parts of the main structure that were slopey.
I like it. The trouble with immovable objects is that they can't move. Sounds dumb, but this means that large vehicles that we remake can't be moved unless we make them on the Elephants in Sandtrap, and that's extremely tough. Anyways, the Banshee was a good idea. Overall, it's a good map. Maybe you should consider adding some targets to shoot at, or finding a way to make it "destructable" (sometimes achieved by lining up a bunch of fusion coils inside open objects on instant respawn for an awesome explosion sequence)
