    Awake

    made by: Lewis KF22

about the track: this is my first sandbox tracks i've made. i used to be a reall active forger on foundry, but quit halo when sandbox came out.
then i made a track to get my forgeskills back on and then made this map.

this map was made in 1day in 4-5hours. it was really easy to make. i didnt use the save+quit object floating technique once :)

    Pictures/ description:

the start, lot of space and you spawn right next to your mongoose (when VIP-racing is on)

little kind of ATV part. but then very easy and not flipping you over
    [IMG]

big turn right into hill with a man-cannon boost
    [IMG]

on the hill, + 1st bank
    [IMG]

    2nd bank
    [IMG]

still on 2nd bank going underneath 1st bank
    [IMG]

grav-lifts to help you slow down alittle for the shield door bounce
    [IMG]

shield door bounce giving you full speed right away
    [IMG]

simple shield door turn... and back to the start...

    one last overview picture.

    lol extra pics

This map looks pretty decent. The interlocking is fair it looks as if it has great raceability and fun for all. For a first it's great and well forged, good job!

This looks like a pretty good map... I can see where there would be some bumps (one big time) and some other possible small bumps... looks like am mix between the normal racetrack and a motorcross track lol... I'll try it out and give a better review later...

oh and what do you mean by you didn't use the save and quit once? how else would you do it, did you stack objects up to every single piece?

yeah kinda... but in a slightly faster way. ill make a film clip or something later explaining how (perhaps i still have the one of this film on recent films :) )
i also used tin cup a few times though :p

for me this technique is way better. cause when you save and quit and start the game 50% of the times the object is on a different place.
