sounds good, but there are some flaws. If you go when the elevator isnt there, you get stuck. But it is still good
any good maps come out of this yet? I thought this was a very awesome contraption so I think if anyone forges up a map they should let me know, because, I like to be in the know!
I'm not so sure this is a causal map, maybe an asthetic but its tricky.... Anyway great job on the idea, I never would have thought of that... I might have to use it in my next map... BTW I see your a fellow Illinoisian(?) so GO CUBS!!!
This is really awesome.... I like to tell you that i worked upon your idea, and accually made A WORKING 3 STORY ELEVATOR i will be posting my elevator very shortly, i have some details i want to change, but it works perfect i assure you
I still don't understand the mechanics of the reset mechinism. I understand how the elevator works, but I don't get how going up the elevator triggers the fusion coil + grav lift interaction. I don't doubt its set to work that way (otherwise the grav lift would break every twenty seconds) but I'm curious as to its exact workings. [edit] If you put this on its side, it might make an interesting "man cannon". Just a thought.
The grav lift does get blown up every 20 seconds. Using the lift doesn't trigger the reset, its just timed.
Hmm, interesting structure. I've got it downloaded, and after I play around with it for a bit, I might try and make a three-tiered map with it, after making another taller/short elevator of course... Hhhmmm.

I just made an elavator today it worked fine and stuff but the reset part always took a while because i would have to wait for the crate to disapeer and then spawn again Your fuson coil idea is perfect i cant believe i didnt think of this. I have a few ideas on how to make a switch for the fusion to destroy the grav lift but the probably wont work but if i come up with something i will post it.
