    Description:
    Hello all! This is my first map submission to forge hub. Hope you all like it!

    This is Aviophobia, an air battle map in the skybubble. Each team is given a an assortment of air vehicles located in seperate hangers linked to a main base by teleporters. The main base contains each teams spawns and objectives. Also, each base is equiped with a machine gun turret mounted in a window and an Anti-Aircraft turret made from a Guass Warthog. The structure in the middle of the map contains the Laser spawn and mancannons that can be used to reach either main base but a vehicle is required to get there (This is the job I recommend you use your transport hornet for) Works for Slayer, CTF, Assault, and KOTH. I recommend you use Battle Rifles for starting weapons.

    Weapons on map include--

    1 Spartan Laser- in the center structure
    2 Sniper Rifles- 1 in each base
    2 rocket launchers- 1 by each AA turret
    carbines- around the middle structure
    2 plasma cannons- around the middle structure

    All ground weapons have limited uses considering the dominance of the air vehicles and limited ground to walk on. Most are for utillity purposes and use by players that do not have a vehicle available.

    Vehicles on map include--

    2 transport hornets- 1 for each team
    2 attack hornets- 1 for each team
    4 banshees- 2 for each team
    2 guass hogs- immovable, used for the AA guns. 1 for each team

    Have you tested this map with friends?

    If so...

    Interesting...
    i definatley think a game type should be made for this or the game will be over in seconds becuase of the constant lasering gauss cannons and them over powered weapons defeats the objest of fighting in the sky.

    I would change all the gauss cannons to rockets and guass cannons i highly accurate and rapid fire.

    If you dont want to change the weapons i suggest giving extra health to each player or they will be shot out of the sky in seconds of taking off...

    4/10 (Just lacks that feeling of air superiority with some many ground weapon options).

    i agree with i2 hardcore 4u i need testers for my new map that i will be updating constantly if you would like to test let me no. not to spam or anything but all in all this map has great potintail i personale think

    I have tested this with friends. I forgot to mention that all vehicles have very fast respawn times, with the banshee and transport hornet spawns being nearly instant. The Attack hornet is longer. All ground weapons have longer spawn times. The gauss cannons have longer spawn times and are very vulnerable to rocket, laser, and attack hornet fire. Originally I used standard hogs but they proved too weak but I think I might do a few tests with them. The laser has the longest respawn. adding a little more player health probably would not hurt, but from what I can tell, standard works fine.
    I think I'll remove the machine guns in the bases and change the guass hogs to standards.

    This looks like I'd want to download... but before I do so, I must ask you. Is this for all gametypes, FFA or team? And even moreso, how often do the gauss cannons and aircraft respawn and do you think the ground to air battle is balanced?

    This is for team gametypes only. you can play FFA on it but spawn killing is a real problem then. I believe the Air and ground is balanced in favor of the Air units, the way I wanted it. As soon as some friends get online, I'm going to post version 2. All done, just needs playtesting. Should be up by the end of the day :)
