I decided to compile some of my best sigs over the time i have spent in GnA, though they may not be that great.

Organized in somewhat a best-to-worst order

im just gonna say, i can tell you love smudging. lol..

but all your signatures are basically the same. try mixing them up a little bit to add some new stuff to your style.. try c4d's.. look up tuts on other stuff like that that will change how you create your sigs. your moderate though nice job

You've got a good start to making sigs. Try and experiment more with c4ds. Have a look at some tutorials, don't try them, just look at what techniques they have and how they use them.

I love to smudge, but i fail epicaly at C4Ds, i try my own effects. for example, my current sigs effect was:

    duplicated layer 3 times
added illusion to 2nd layer then turned down opacity on first layer to 70.
added bnw gradient map and turned down opacity again to 70, so its a little bit more black and white then the normal stock.
dilate the illusion, find dilate in the generics of the filters collumn. (meaning: select 2nd layer and dilate)
blend layers (needs 3 layers to blend)
    add softglow.

    DILATING IS IMPORTANT STEP
    gimp tut

    What this does:

seems to Sharpen the blurring, making it look smokey
creates those lines coming from the figure on the right side
creates good looking soft lighting. (IE: look at face, shirt and right of wing)

i guess you can call this a tut, but its only for one effect.

Your best is the Spiderman one IMO (colored).
Worst (no offense at all, haha) is 300 or Gloom.

    Keep it up man.
