in the back get rid of the news print and put a mushroom nuke and shadow war in the backround.

 

Honestly, V2 looks fine to me. The blurred text gives it depth, very nice sig IMO.

 

The hole looks very fake, try finding an image of a helmet with bullet penetration. Usually the hole would be a little smaller and it wouldn't be in a nice round shape.

 

i agree with nightfire on the bullet hole.. in fact the helmet itself looks kinda fake..

i like v2 with blurred text, but think you need to put something in the background.. the newspaper works, but if the background were of like a battlefield or like khala said, a mushroom cloud i guess(though i have a feeling it wouldnt look great)

as for lighting and stuff, thats all great. so good job on creativity and execution
