It would be kool if Forgehub got a playlist in matchmaking. It could be all the featured maps... who agrees??
I believe they've already announced a "forged" playlist. While not officially forghub..who are they going to look through? The chasm of inferno and death that is the bungie.net forums? Or the shiny Vbulletin awesomeness that is FH?
That is what I am wondering. If they do plan on having one...AWESOME. But if mealon is lying to us...there will be blood
It's kinda funny that everyone keeps on wanting something for "FH". Don't youthink that there are other Halo fan based communities that want something too? They did say something about Forge based playlist but they haven't officially announced it yet.

Nemi: Bungie's been alluding to (do they do anything else?) a custom map/gameype variant playlist for matchmaking... which would be awesome. It's assumable that the stuff they pick would come from here... judging by other comments they've made over they past months. Not much else to elucidate.
Well, what makes us so different from other Forging sites? Sure, we've played Humpday with them, but is that it? You don't know what elucidate means, do you?
Eludicate?! If forgehub do get a playlist it will be more popular than MLG... I don't about you but playing on forged maps is more fun than forging them. But what do i know?? Eludicate?? I think i'm gonna be sick.... (oj)
if one comes out, that means ANYONE on forgehub has an oppurtunity to have there maps on matchmaking? If yes, will the creator get credit for making the map?:squirrel_chatting:
If there was a playlist it'd be a collaboration of the cream of the crop in all forging groups. IE the best of the featured maps on FH and other great mpas made by other forging groups (none come to mind right away but they obviously exist ) I would imagine itd be if you saved a forged map from recent films the creator would be there under author,or in the description. There'd be no point in bungie DLing it altering the description for MM and then re posting it.
It'll be bungie's choice which maps/gametypes get played. Good ones with a lot of good publicity have better chances, I suppose.
??? Anything could happen. Personally I think it would be great. I'd actually perform a backflip if it happened. Actually. I love playing forge maps more than making them. You'd have to take into account that all of these maps wouldn't be on Foundry though... Unless they made it just for Foundry maps
I got a great feeling about next weeks Double XP weekend......... Or just regular XP..... OR just a forging playlist where we forge and see what we have made.
Yup, forge-based, not necessarily ForgeHub-based. They stated this in one of their weekly updates. If people still don't believe us, I will look it up... though I don't really want to. I would certainly expect them to pull maps from our site, but the playlist wouldn't be entirely forgehub. --dc
yeah well, very very few of the top downloaded maps on B.net weren't featured on Forgehub. so they would be stupid not to use our maps.
It was on the interview Top Story with Shishka, if I remember correctly. Apparently he's considering a playlist dedicated entirely to forge maps, with the maps and gametypes on the playlist changing at regular intervals. I think he/they also said that the various Halo communities would submit the maps they felt were their personal favorites, and Shishka or other Bungie dudes would pick the ones to go into that week's/month's rotation.
