    DESCRIPTION: This is a symetrical map setup for ctf, bomb & slayer gametypes. The base has 2 main entrances one on the side and one in front. From the front you can enter upper or lower level. More about the front of the base you can go in through top ramps or underneath center.
    On the top platform in front of the blue base has a energy drain the red base has a regenerator for proper defense of your base. You will also notice the side entrance to base there is a energy shield through testing i found it to be needed so someone cant just hide around corner and throw grenades, you need to come inside and git er done. have fun with this map and thanks for looking at pics..

    WEAPONS: A sniper in each base. The map is long enough to have 2 snipers, found out through testing, 1 needler, 1 brute, rockets in center
    of THE PIT, stickys and br's.

    The map concept looks great and the idea behind it is pretty unique, but I would hate being engaged in a battle and fall into those massive holes throughout the map. Obviously I understand its all part of the idea, but for me it would make for some frustrating gameplay. Based on concept alone I give it a 4/5 but I have a few doubts about gameplay on it. Also, using the walls for floors can cause serious bumps but I don't see any on your pics.

    thank you for the comment about the walls for the floor i agree it can be bumpy , lol i had to place those things like 50 times to make sure there is no bumping and they are very straight...dont you hate when you save and quit and they move?.. lol it was a task getting those perfect.. I actually originally wanted to make center solid but not enough budget left,,,lol hence the name the pit . but it is actually great this way and makes for some fun gameplay.

    I had an idea for a map eerily similar to this one, but I abandoned the idea because I was never satisfied with how the map was coming out. It looks very nice to play on. The only thing that would annoy me is the constant falling off the map through the gaping holes in the middle. Those holes would be the burden of my game! I'd say this would be very challenging in Objective games like CTF, Oddball, & Assault, because in jepordaic situations, the carrier would just drop the Objective off the map so it would reset. Cowards...

    I like the idea of this map. The holes could add a bit more to the gameplay if you ask me. Different is good in my book. Maybe if you had like a block tall floating in the middle of the holes would allow for a quick jump across, or maybe a block flat, to make jumping over more of risk. I hope there is some bubble shields around from some instant cover. I love the look of it! Good job.

    awesome map, tyou should check out Big Fish its like this (but you fall off more). Also you dorealise thre is already a map called 'The Pit'? lol

    The side walkways are beautiful! how did you manage to fix the bumps because i would like to know? The only problem I see besides the ones previously stated is that the flag would be easy to gaurd. this is because your enemies can only attack you from one direction. Im not sure if this matters but i would suggest something to counteract this. 4/5

    And truth be told, I can't 'really' comment on the gameplay since I haven't played it so if you says its fun, I gots to believe ya!

    How i got the floor straight to answer question , i just saved one at a time over and over until is was perfect lol i spent half a day on the floor i sware..grrrr i hate when those pieces move after saving ..

    Sweet. How come, though, that the rocket is open in the first pic but not the second? A good map though 4/5. Why doesn't it support other gametypes?

    well im leaving a comment for the idea alone because the spawns always seemed terrible when i played this no matter on what gametype. now i do like the main base but the flag spawns needs another way out instead of juust run in and back out. then get grenade jumped off the map. so there u go

    hope everybody likes the map and thanks for downloading

    if anyone downloads this link i have updated two things on map not in pics based on feedback, the flag spawn is now more into the base and i closed up the back of the base. also the side entrance to the base i put rails on the side so u cant fall off, hope you like it game play is much better

    Wow very cool concept for your sandymap ! But i think you have to much of weapon holder ! LoL ! Put your rockets bridge look great . i will download it and share you more comments !
