Many WoW players including me have been waiting for this patch for months.

Since I had to start over and make a new character, the revamped mount system is much welcomed, allowing level 20s to get mounts, for much cheaper too.

Level 20's? It was originally at 40, and friends told me they brought it down to 30. I think this is just taking away from the accomplishment of actually getting a mount.

I don't even play anymore, but I still like to keep up with games to see how they've evolved from what they started with. Any other notable changes? I don't feel like reading the entire thing.

Another notable change was rendering twinks (since in battlegrounds you play with the levels in your bracket [10-19, 20-29, etc] players would stop leveling at the highest level of the bracket and equipt themselves with the best and most highly enchanted loot) useless. They also made them go through a range of emotions.

    First, it said this:

    • Battleground experience has arrived!
    • Players will now be awarded experience for completing objectives and actions that yield honor in Battlegrounds (honorable kills not included).

They go through a mixture of emotions such as hate towards blizzard, anger, sadness, disapointedness, and feeling of wasted time.
    • Players who do not wish to gain experience through PvP can visit Behsten in Stormwind or Slahtz in Orgrimmar - both located near the Battlemasters in either city - and turn off all experience accumulation for the cost of 10 gold.

They breathe a sigh of relief and feel that they underestimated Blizzard and their love for them has grown for thinking about all of the twinks.

    • Players with experience gains turned off who compete in Battlegrounds will face off only against other players with experience gains turned off.
Then they cry again and slam their hands at the keyboard. This renders twinks useless

Well that's good. That's why I never did BG. All the twinks made it impossible to be any good.

lol i had twink gear when i wasnt a twink...****ing raped twinks...

anywho, not having a mount 20+ up was ****ing annoying, i was finally glad to get one at 40 after many wasted hours walking back and forth between places that didnt have flightpaths.

its not taking away the accomplishment, as the only mounts that would show greatness in the game are the extremely rare ones you can only get in hard dungeons.

glad to see Blizz is addressing fan complaints...

    havent played WoW in ages...

So? I'd still like it if things remained the way I remembered them.
